Los Arqueros Tennis Center is just a short drive away from Marbella, and I must admit – this is my favorite club in the area, despite its drawbacks.
Why do I love it? Because it is an incredibly quiet and breathtakingly beautiful place, nestled among the mountains and surrounded by lush golf courses.
The club features only one grass tennis court, which, to be honest, is not in the best condition. However, for me, the peace and beauty of the setting outweigh any imperfections.
In addition to the tennis court, the center offers four pickleball courts and two padel courts. In the morning hours, you’ll find groups of expats playing enthusiastically – and quite loudly! But the rest of the time, the tranquility of the place is simply unmatched.
Booking a court is easy via the PLAYTOMIC app, and the cost is €20 per hour. However, if you get to know the staff, you might be able to book directly at the reception for a lower price.
The nearest decent hotel, Occidental Puerto Banús, is about a 20-minute drive away. But this is one of those cases where finding an apartment on Booking.com or Airbnb nearby would be a great alternative.
